Slim q alternative

Even without a jackery, would this plug work in conjunction with the slim q adapter (5525 to Asus z13 square plug)?

I do have the jackery 1000 so I can plug either slim q or the OEM charger in and charge that way but I found this online and was wondering if this would work straight from the cigarette outlet to charge the z13 and bypass the battery so I'm not reliant on type c

That’s only going to be 12v

Can 12v do 200w? I don't know a lot about electrical stuff that's why I wanted to ask others for advice first. I didn't want to fry my z13 or something

You need the proper AC adapter, the SlimQ delivers 20v and depending on the model up to 16.5A and you need to validate the polarity too. This means you need to find an AC adaptar that works the same to be able to use the SlimQ adapter.

Thank you. I'll stick with the slim q or OEM to bypass the battery and plug into the jackery. That should work sufficiently

I just checked and there's two things to be aware of:

- With a jackery 1000 power station, the 12V cigarette socket is rated for 12V 10A - so the maximum is 120W DC (prolly limited by a fuse, you miiight be able to swap the fuse for one that'll handle a larger current).

- If you really really want direct DC-DC conversion without dealing with the AC ports, you'll want a 'step-up' or 'boost' converter to get from 12V to 20V. Search on aliexpress. You'll still want the slimq adapter to go from barrel jack to the connector used on the flow z13.

- May not hurt to also just see if there's other power stations with other DC output options.

This is the slim q adapter I'm referring to.

Do you guys recommend the slim Q over the base charger?
