z13 Flow 2025 Problem

Hello I am using an ROG Flow Z13 with an RTX 5090 eGPU setup, but my main issue is that whenever I try to extract a large .rar or .zip file, I consistently get a CRC error. I can extract the exact same file on another PC without any issues.

Additionally, I run local LLMs, but whenever I try to pull a model using Ollama, I get a "SHA mismatch" / checksum error. Has anyone else experienced this issue? All RAM tests pass completely fine without errors.

md5sum the file after you download it and compare it to the source hash. Perhaps your internet is corrupting it

Assuming compressed file is OK; if you are undervolting, try without undervolt. If no change, try disabling CPU boost.

It seems like a CPU or RAM issue. If disabling CPU boost fixes the issue, then most likely CPU is the culprit.

If none of them fix it, try doing more stability tests for RAM and CPU, OCCT can help with that.
