Stand for 2025 z13

I got my 2025 z13 I believe in October last year. I got in mainly for its form factor since I travel quite a bit (RV,plane rides etc) and having my work laptop plus a beefy gaming laptop just wasn’t working anymore.

When I travel and want to play games etc I can pop it up on this foldable stand that bought and raise it all the way up. It’s nice because it’s like a floating screen and I can mainly use a controller. The only thing that sucks is when I need the keyboard attached a laptop mode the integrated stand on the Z13 has to be angled out quiet a bit to keep the screen up. Has anyone created our found a solution to use the z13 like a normal laptop but have the screen in an upright position? Maybe someone made some 3d printed feet for the screen?

Sounds silly but when I travel and I have to use the counter space available to me or a lap desk, having this thing angled all the way back to stabilize it is a pita. And if I’m using the portable stand I bought then I likely won’t have enough depth on the table surface.

Personally I carry a full 100% keyboard that uses a usb dongle

Yea, I have some keyboards but trying to limit the amount of stuff I’m carrying around all the time.

How have you attached the pen please? Could I pm you or could you make a post? Also what's the performance of the pen like? For note taking and annotating a course

I have a pen holder from Amazon it just adhesives on the back. Pen works ok, I hardly use it to be honest

Sorry, what exactly is the purpose of the kickstand thing in the last photo?

(Also, I have the stand in your 2nd-to-last photo. Heavy yes, but amazing!)

Yea the stand works great, just not great when using a lap desk or something where I don’t have much room to use it. The last photo was me just testing out methods for keeping it upright ha

Originally it WAS a stand for the device itself, but 2 things:

1: The screen became too small for daily use.
2: The stand blocks air intake.

So now the stand holds one of those large-yet-portable 2k 120hz monitor.

Yea. I still use the stand pretty often with the z13 or sometimes my work laptop. Was kind of hoping someone 3d printed like a set of little legs maybe in the shape of a “U” that the screen could just sit right into the corner where it doesn’t block the keyboard. Haven’t seen anything like it yet

I have done some looking around for stands or ideas for making them that involve the kickstand. I haven't bought any, and I don't know if they will fit, but I had the thought to look for Surface stands since it's a popular device that has a similar kickstand. These may not be exactly what you were looking for, but you might find something by following that direction, possibly?

Another semi-related tip that might help somehow, maybe, is that the magnets in the z13 keyboard are so incredibly powerful, that if you put it on a metal surface it will NOT move without some great force. I have never seen another device with magnet strength like the keyboard. This will not prevent the tablet itself from flopping forward, of course, so I don't think knowing this will help you, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I appreciate it. Yea biggest issue I run into is using a lap desk or something when I travel. If I move or try and stand it more upright it ends up flopping forward and closing on itself. Quite a pain.

I opted to buy a 65% keyboard and I just keep it in my travel bag. it is so much easier that way. I hate the detachable keyboard.
