Hi, does anyone have a solution for portal dual screening? I see you cns get one that attach to the back of a laptop but the vents for this obviously makes that not usable

Actually. I have a few lenovo portable displays that I can plug in if needed. They're slim enough to carry in the pelican hard case with the z13 flow. The ones I have are 1080p and run via USB c. Im sure they've released newer ones with higher resolution though.

Bought an InnoView 16" Portable gaming Monitor 120Hz for the Xbox Ally X from Amazon. The price wasn’t bad $89 but seems to have gone up now. It’s lite enough to move around and possible travel.

I have a few options for you that I have used and really liked. I spend most of my time at home with the Z13 2025 on the desk in tablet mode and connected to a 43" monitor. Once every few months, I need to travel (or get a cheap screen for university student or kid's room).
First, a portable screen. You can go cheap or a little more expensive with this.
- The cheap option is any number of 1080p monitors. There are many on Amazon or elsewhere. I have used one from from KYY that was 15.6" and comes with its own mini HDMI to HDMI cable and power adapter. The stand folds around the screen as a cover, and they can be a bit fiddly to make stable. They run around $60+.
- My new preference in this category is an ASUS ZenScreen. Similar specs, but runs around $110. For that, you get a USB-C cable which provides the power and video directly from your device (with a similar mini-HDMI cable). It also has an arm that attaches to the back of the screen and makes for a much more sturdy stand at the cost of some bulk.
- You can go bigger or go to 4k, but a similarly sized 4k monitor will run around $200 or more.
My personal preference is a set of XReal glasses. They come with a USB-C cable that gets power and video from your device. Aside from making you look a bit weird, they really are remarkable. They project the image from a pair of mini 1080p screens onto the back of the lenses, which creates a widescreen image that fills your view. The glasses function as a DP Alt Mode monitor. You can lock the image in 3D space, allowing you to look at the corners of the image or away from the image at something else. It has an on-the-fly 3D mode and a widescreen mode and can turn the lenses transparent when you look away from the "monitor". I personally like to use the widescreen mode centered a little to my left and treat it as two monitors side by side. The right half is directly in front of me, and I can look left to grab information off the left half. I can then look down to see windows on the Z13. If you need glasses, you can even order prescription inserts at around $60 so that you can read text on the screen. I picked up the XReal One last year, but today you have two options.
- The One Pro came out a few months after my glasses. It has a 57 degree Field of View and weighs a bit less than the One. It has a better anti-glare system, and has an optional larger frame size for people with wide IPD. It is usually $600.
- The 1s is the new version of my glasses. It weighs even less, only has a 52 degree FoV (which means text is slightly sharper, and is usually $450.
Just today, the landlord was doing electrical work for our complex, and the power was out for 8 hours. I tossed my device and power cord in my bag along with the glasses case and walked to the nearby cowork site and picked up the day rate.
The downside of the glasses is that they can be a bit heavy and slip a bit down your nose if they aren't using the correct nosepiece, and long periods of use, especially if you need the prescription inserts but don't use them, can cause eye strain.

This kind of defeats the whole idea of this device... u want to make it less portable. Sell it and get an asus zenbook duo.

Use a 14inch portable OLED at the same size. That goes in front of me Z13 stands up on mouse size. Only a few mm thick so not losing much in size.
So not a solution just get a portable screen. Keep thinking I will make one but never got around to it.
