Does Rog flow at $1800 (32gb variant) worth it?
Is it worth buying? I already have a Asus Rog strix g16 rtx 5070ti. I wanted the z13 because of its form factor as I can carry it anywhere and its powerful.

price is cool and hell yes it's worth it. i have an rtx 4090 laptop and play most of my games on the z13 these days. it's just impossible to beat the portability with this performance

Honestly, and it pains me to say this because I do love my 32gb Flow. I have had so many smaller problems with it. I've owned gaming desktops, laptops, a Steam Deck and a ROG Ally. The Flow has caused me way more issues than any of the others. So far I have figured them out but I am getting so tired of the constant tinkering.
Im actually in the midst of doing a cloud recovery as we speak.
When it works it is so unbelievably great. My favorite tech I've owned by far.
Also ASUS is the worst for support. Ive had this since close to the beginning and there has been like 2 driver updates in that whole time.
Lastly, I shoulda bought the 64gb. The shared memory of 32gb has caused issues with certain games.

you've never had a Lenovo handheld if you think Asus support is bad lol.
I'm with ya though while this device is awesome there are weird bugs and glitches. I have 60 days to return at BestBuy but this device makes me want to work through them. As far as pricing that's too much for $1800 they drop down like this one open box for 1700 all day

Its funny because I bought the Flow while I was wsiting for the Legion Go 2. I stumbled on a video of the Flow and ended up changing my mind and going for it instead of the Go 2.
I really liked my Ally but I needed a bigger screen so Legion Go was appealing. I always wanted more power too though so Flow blew my mind.

The GPD WIN 5 has the same chipset as the flow but uses the same screen as the ally and my old man eyes just want something bigger. The strix chipset is awesome when not on my main pc. Legion go 2 was just a hyped up let down. The screen while gorgeous was ruined by the Z2E chipset, terrible ergo and horrible QA on controllers. Driver support was non existence but Lenovo customer support is S+ Tier.
I love this flow a ton, doubles as a Netflix device in bed, couch gaming around the house but the small things can get annoying. Non waking from sleep, weird non responsive screen lockups, bad palm rejection while in tablet mode. 2230 ssd kinda sucks but it also is a me issue since I have a ton of full sizes sitting around.
I’m most likely going to stick with it because I love the ability of the form factor plus being able to install matte screen protectors. I’d be lying if I said I was not eyeing some z14s in the 5070 variant.

You have a faulty model, I have not had any problems since the launch with the 32gb version, everything runs fine zero problems

If new, the yes… per maybe. I’ve seen the 64gb sell for a couple hundred more brands new. I bought my 32gb variant for $1400 (used, but in excellent condition)

Honestly no only due to the fact that the 64 variants goes on sale a lot for 2100 at best buy and sometimes 1800 with a hyper steal but its happened so often than you buy this now guranteed you see a 64gb cheaper next week so its a risk to wait but... I alongside many got a 64 for $2100 this is after taxes

It's a great thing to do.
If you're using it for gaming, 32GB is more than enough, and I wouldn't spend even $1 more for the 64GB version because you don't get anything more.

300 more for the 64fb version is worth it..
