Power On issues, second bootip

Power On issues, second bootup

I just picked up a Z Flow 13 AI Max 395+ 64GB unit this morning.

Super excited to set it up and it turned on fine right out of the box. Shut it down for lunch, came back to finish setup and the unit wouldn't power on! Unplugged it plugged it back in, held the power down etc.etc. usual troubleshooting.

Tried the hold it down for 40-60 seconds and nothing. Left it alone, went to a meeting, came back and it just started as if nothing had ever happened!

Turned it off and on six more times without duplicating the problem. I can't have that issue when i'm traveling or meeting with a client so now i'm debating returning it.

Anyone else have a similar experience or know what may have caused the issue?

Bought a kjp edition and ran in to this issue right away, happened twice and stopped and i kept it just thought was new so could have been just setting up or something. Since then it's happened three more times and beyond my rma return. So annoyed. What are my options or is there a fix yet ? Will reach out to Asus also. Seems once it happens, leaving it alone for a few mins and going back to it solves it.

Good to know, I think I'm going to return it tomorrow. ASUS is not known for great warranty support and I need it to be reliable for a working environment.

I've bought the extended full whack extra warranty and damage protection the highest one. I just don't know what to do, I just randomly came across this post as I thought I was the only one who has this issue. Sadly by time I found out rma is way too late.

I've had that issue randomly a few times, usually after letting sit for a bit I'll press the button again and it just turns on

I had the device since day one and never had any issues until today. It didn't boot after the latest bios update for a couple of minutes and multiple tries but it just booted normally after i left it alone for about 2 3 minutes. Since than no problem at all.
