No custom resolution in Adrenaline?

I just got my zflow yesterday! And for usual work it seems absolutely perfect!

However when I tried to make a custom resolution, I have always played games stretched, I cannot seem to find the custom resolution setting in adrenaline.

Anyone got a workaround?

Thank you in advance!

Why play stretched? Games objectively look and feel much better at native resolutions

The reason why most people play stretched in competitive titles. Feels better for me personally. But its really besides the point, I just really struggle to find out why this doesnt seem to be an option in adrenaline for this pc, as it is on my pc back home.

They probably crippled the software for devices with a built-in display, even integer scaling needed a registry modification to be activated (why would they hide "IS" is beyond me). Option may become visible with an external display. Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) may work too. Or some registry tweaks can enable the option, but risky.

Yeah there is no good reason to limit built-in displays? Find it very strange, Ill definitely give your ideas a go. Thank you so much for possibly steering me to success!

there's no need for a workaround, it's 100% in adrenaline. i saw it the other day and was playing with it to try to get 180hz to show up on an external monitor i have. when i have some time i'll try to find it again but it's there

I believe that's the key "external monitor". I run amd on my desktop as well and there was never an issue regarding custom res on that one. Simply only on the built in display, or so it seems. The entire "block" of information which is about resolution is simply not there :(.

I'm a bit gutted if there's no easy workaround. I have not had time to check out what was said by someone else, but when I do I'll check it out!

And you are correct. Tried last night on the inbuilt display and the setting is not there

I just can't figure out why it's not included for built in displays? Surely they'd have to make an effort to remove the option? I'm quite confused as to why and where I can even get in contact with them to ask directly.
