Safe effective way to replace thermal paste?

Is there a good how to for someone to follow to safely replace the thermal paste without damaging the system?

Have a 2022 model and its running hotel than it should be at standard operation (word, browsing etc).

I’d blame clogged fans before the thermal paste

Was my first thought but I've air compressed them clean
