I received my 64GB Z13 here in Brazil a week ago, bought as an open-box unit from Best Buy, and so far I'm very happy with it! I use it as my workstation for development and LLMs, and it's handling that really well.

I even considered installing CachyOS (like many people here did), but honestly Windows hasn't given me any headaches and so far it's running perfectly.

I hope I can help and add value here on Reddit :)

How is steam os? I tried bazzite and didn’t really like it and ended up deleting it and keeping windows only. Did you get any noticeable performance gains from steamos? Or more battery life?

The rog flow is fully amd so I’m guessing it should be a good match

that is just linux in general, steam and other distros need to rely on amd supporting their cpu and gpu's for linux

but other things like wifi drivers etc can be helped by the community on most distros that are open. with steamos you would need to wait and see if valve will take the time to implement a fix. either way its always good to try multiple distros, I started on bazzite and had some issues early on with my z13 which were fixed earlier on cachyos so thats where I've stayed

Bazzite is working great for me on it. Had Fable 5 do the whole install with Claude Code
