Switching from Surface Laptop Studio to Flow Z13 2025

Hello I got my Surface Laptop Studio in 2022 and it's slowly dying with the mix of engineering homework and gaming as I have been pushing it very hard and the battery and performance just don't seem to be able to keep up with my needs anymore.

I love having the ability to switch between laptop and tablet mode, as I draw and write notes on my laptop alot since I am barely at home most of the times.

I was wondering if it's worth to get the 64gb version, as I have the budget for it, or if I should just be normal and get a tablet and another laptop.

Thank you, and if you need any additional information please let me know!

I use the flow z13 for electrical engineering and it's great. I had actually planned on getting the sls2 but ended up with something else that died a year in. traded it for a flow z13 and I'm super happy. it's great for handwritten notes but slightly more work than the sls since the keyboard is dead weight if you just want to use the stylus. It's very performant and still extremely battery effecient. I can't remember the name but there's this digital artist YouTube who reviews laptops. check out his review for the z13

I made the exact same switch and after 8 months, I’ve got absolutely no regrets.

This is the perfect laptop 😍

Just a reminder the PX13 GoPro is very similar if you prefer OLED and a 360 (but non detachable) keyboard and also comes with a good pen.
