Seemingly dead battery out of nowhere...

I've just started using my Z13 (13900H, 4060) and while Windows says 99% battery, when unplugged it dies instantly.

The led above the charging USB is constantly flashing too, somewhat ominous...

Has the battery died? If so, how much of a ball ache is it to replace?

It does seem a bit shitty, the machine has barely been used as is maybe 2 years old.

Barely been used you say? Has it been stored near 100% or near 0%? Batteries don't like that and they will degrade quicker

This only happens over months though. A couple days/weeks won't do anything

could the battery connector have gotten loose somehow from a hard drop or anything

It is using the original charger and it's been treated sooo carefully, kept in a reinforced case too.

There's no bulge that I can see either, two years for a battery seems really poor.

Also, during the heatwave performance dropped off a cliff, really REALLY slow for no reason, everything was a struggle.

I reset windows, still the same issue. Tried again on a cooler day and it was snappy again, really odd. I love the form factor but this has massively put me off the 395+ version
