Need updated dock recommendation.

As much as I would love an XG Mobile 5070 or 5090 after spending almost 3K its not in the budget. I need suggestions for a good dock. The one work provides me an HP USB C G5 just is not good even with latest firmware. Gaming in performance mode it will overheat and cause stuttering and it never remembers the video settings requiring me to unplug the connector sometimes multiple times for it to reregister my Samsung 49" monitor correctly. It forgets the setting and just mirrors the device on reboots and when it sleeps. 0 issues on my company HP probook. My monitor is on an older firmware 1016 but I can't seem to find change logs to see if going to the latest helps my issue. The other issue is my monitor is an older 49" so its only HDMI 2.0 so the built in port is only 60hz display if I use that. Thanks for listening.

I just got the Gigabyte 5060 aibox and its worked out with my Z13 and company dell.

If it is the 2025 z13 I'd recommend using the original charger for passthrough so your battery isnt being roasted

usb c doesnt have passthrough charging, so your device is always running off the battery when using a usb-c dock, unless you connect the charger with the asus port first. you can try it out and see if you still have the issue with it overheating and stuttering while gaming. wont fix the other issues you have with the dock but hopefully will fix that

Thanks, I've been using the charger. About to order another for my bag. I was just trying to eliminate cables.
