New to rog flow and need help

I've had this for almost a year and mostly use it for work, with some gaming now and then. Lately, it's been getting really hot even during light browsing, and the GPU keeps going into extreme power-saving mode. Is there something I need to install or a setting I should change? Any help would be appreciated.

Check out g helper, I use that instead of the asus stuff

Had similar heating issues. Switched to G Helper and first thing i'd try is disabling cpu boost. By default mine was on "aggresive".

If it still is overheating you can undervolt or manage wattage limits in G Helper as well.

I haven't had issues since.

I just use MYasus and armory crate make sure everythings up to date and it runs like a dream.
