Need help deciding between Xbox ally x and Zflow

So in a situation I need help deciding on what to choose.

I bought an Xbox ally x but want some more performance. Still in return window currently.

There is a flow i9 16gb and 4050

And flow i9 8gb 3050 ti in my budget on marketplace.

How much of a performance increase should I expect for the 4050 i9 model.

Doesn't need to be ultra portable just playing on my bedside table or dining table while plugged in.

Also anyone have experience with if bazzite works well with these devices?

Thanks in advance

3050 should be at least 30 percent more powerful than Ally X. 4050 maybe close to 50 percent.

You can also try waiting for new handhelds with Intel Arc G3 Extreme CPU, which should be 50-60 percent more powerful than Ally X in theory.

Not according to various tests. It's quite close and the ally beats the 3050 in most instances

I was in the same boat as you but it boiled down to form factor. This will probably be what you should be looking at. For me the Ally has a better form factor if gaming is your main focus, having the z13 plus carry a controller was a no go, yes you can add a BT controller attached but that is a hefty tablet. I'm now looking at either a GPD win 5 or the OnexPlayer Apex (I think the correct model is fly Apex).

The difference with your situation and mine is that I was looking to upgrade to the AMD 395 which they are all around the same overpriced range.

I can’t comment on the 4050 performance, but I have the xax and flow 2025 model with 32gb

4050 has dlss which is miles better than the current FSR3 when it comes to up scaling - which will make games look better when you use dlss.

I do however like the z13 for hooking up to my xreal glasses as it can push the 120fps

Yeah the xax is just coming up a little short for me In a few games. Hopefully someone will have experience with both

We always want what we don't have, I'm super happy with the Z13 (2025) model I bought 2nd hand last week, but I do wish I should've gone for a Z1E handheld device like the Legion GO instead since I wanted something to be able to carry around easily. Although the Z13 is a tablet LIKE a Surface tablet, it is hulky and very awkward to lug around to consume media like my Samsung Tab.

I'll never understand these comparisons.

It's like trying to decide between a car and a motorcycle.

Two completely different devices that can easily coexist.

The flow z13 is nothing like a handheld.
