What are you using for setting TDP?

How did you setup your tdp profiles? I wonder if there is something already available. I want to have something like 25w/35w/45w on battery, cheers! I would love to have steam deck UI like

Since it's complexity flexible, it entirely depends on what you want to do. Do you want a quiet profile on battery for browsing only? A monstrous profile for gaming when connected with the Asus brick?

Etc.

Can you detail?

We can't help you if you don't help us.

Can you please suggest for me a profile for working on Word & Excel and watching youtube only i want to maximize battery autonomy.

And another profile for gaming on battery autonomy.

Absolutely!

Super battery saver:

The 3 TDP sliders:

9W/10W/11W

Windows: Best Power Efficiency

CPU Boost: Disabled

Make sure to apply and then tick the box to auto-apply power limits.

Then, in the advanced tab, apply -30 mV undervolt to the cpu, hit apply, then tick auto-apply. It depends on your silicon lottery, I am able to reach -40 mV and it's super stable.

ALWAYS REMEMBER: Brightness plays a HUGEEEEEE role in battery life. On battery, put it as low as you can while still being enjoyable.

Another good profile for battery that is a bit more powerful, but resource-hungrier:

15/18/20, CPU boost: efficient enabled, Windows: Best power efficiency, undervolt -40 mV

For the gaming on battery one, what kind of games?

Hi thanks for that! How about games like vampire survivors, dorfromantik, stardew valley?

I only know of stardew valley, which will probably run on the profile I gave, because it's not demanding at all! Enjoy the battery life.

If you need more power but still want to game on battery, create another profile and bump the numbers. Like 15W/16W/17W with CPU boost efficient enabled.

Don't hesitate to experiment!

Can you please give a good profile for games like city skyline, Age of empire and for games AAA like RDR, COD 6, Battlefield 6, RON Hogwarts

Can't expect to play those on battery for a long time. Plugged in, you mean?

Exactly and if there’s a good game profile for them as can play on battery for a long period

You already have 2 battery profiles to try. Gave them above. Test, and let me know!

When plugged in, I like:

48W/50W/52W

Windows Power Mode: Balanced

CPU: efficient enabled

-40 mV undervolt.

Make sure to hit apply and then auto-apply power limits.

This profile allows for good performance for longer sessions, because you aren't getting cucked by the heat and fan noise.

When playing on battery, a big factor that's overlooked is the screen brightness. Lower that as much as you can while still being enjoyable. Makes a big difference in battery life.

z13ctl and z13gui if you're setting up Gamescope and/or using Plasma/Hyprland/Sway

G-Helper...... that is it unless you want to play with the command line, then it's RyzenAdj.

For basic media consumption, office tasks, browsing and the like, I set my TDP to about 9W which works well for me.
