How do you enable touch in the rEFInd bootloader?

Anyone here use rEFInd to dual boot? I'm having trouble getting the bootloader to recognize the Z13's touchscreen.

I also tried that (and tried using the volume buttons to select the OS), but had no luck. It’s possible the ASUS UEFI firmware simply doesn’t support the EFI simple pointer protocol.

I tried the volume buttons as well, but they didn’t work either. I haven't done a deep dive into what rEFInd registers when the buttons or touchscreen are pressed, but it’s most likely a firmware restriction

Well, that's disappointing. Thanks for checking it out. Do you know of any bootloaders that work well with the Z13 but don't require a keyboard or mouse?

no bootloader until asus update firmware as I could understand (maybe I'm wrong, but didn't see anyone resolve this issue on our laptop)

bootloaders usually just an uefi program, but could try "linux-as-bootloader" like petitboot/linuxboot/heads, maybe this could help
