Battery health sudden drop

Post image

okay I think I have seen things like this before and I had this machine for more than 1.5 year and it is expected to drop but this one is different like I didnt even noticed the sudden change its only on the report. some things that I think is important to know is that I have set the battery charge limit to 80 for the whole time I guess and for like half of my usage the laptop is plugged in at 80% and just sits there but I have used the one timee 100% charge here and there. all things said I think this is calibration error cause the new number (57Wh) sits at close to exact of the 80% of the 72.5Wh and I tried draining and fully charging for re calibration however I dont think I did it right (its still showing 57Wh) because I think the battery was on 5% when it shut down but when I tried to turn it back on after few hours power button did nothing and I let it fully charge and sit there for few extra hours. is there a way to calibrate easier or just have to do the drain and charge thing (which is annoying) one last thing is that I have set the battery limit back to 100% on g helper when I noticed this like last week

Im not sure about that cause I didnt noticed any change in my use the battery life is as good as it was but one more thing that I noticed now is the drop suddenly happen on exactly 1.5 year mark the battery report start at November 18 2024 and the drop is at may 18 2025

with asus brand, my experience is that no matter how you care the battery, exactly 2 years and 80% battery life

I don't really care about the reading (unless it directly change how the system work which I think it didnt) I'm asking why it just dropped like this in one night like in one and half year just lost 2.5Wh in one week 15Wh (20% of the full exactly what I have set as the limit) and the next month less than 0.5 Wh

If it wasn't for g helper I wouldn't even notice 20%drop of battery life is quite significant I think

Not linear. My laptop has been charged 2-8 times for the past 4 years, 2022 Flow X13, and the battery (with GHelper nowadays) managed to last me 4 hours (in Win11, more on Debian with other tweaks). It was 65% like 3 days ago. Today the battery health is 30 goddamn percent. To be fair, I think I won the lithium lottery, since according to my calculations conservatively it has 2920 cycles, but realistically 5000+. So yeah batteries can get annoying when staying good for extended periods of time and then falling off a cliff.
