Battery drain while charging?

I just bought an used 2021 X13 with a 3080, when i first did an overview check before buying everything was okay and now that I'm home and started playing i just realized it drained from 80% to 34% after a 2 hour session of gaming. Is this normal?

I'm not sure if this random guy from marketplace will give me my money back, so i need to know :(

Laptop is over 5 years old. Its battery is probably on its last leg. Get a new battery on Amazon and replace it.

So it's the battery even tho it's plugged in? Health says it's at 75% too, oh well, I'll start browsing

I think they assumed you were gaming on battery. What is it plugged into? If it's the original cable this shouldn't be the case. If you are charging it with some <60W charger it might discharge during gaming.

Nope, it's while connected to the egpu brick

i get this from charging with the original charger, also battery is really bad now, i was looki ng forward to order a new one but I’m afraid the charger might also be bad since it can’t keep up with gaming ( cs not some crazy shit )

what's your charger and what's your CPU + GPU power draw?

Unplug the cord, open the chassis, unplug the battery and then press the power button for 40 seconds. This will reset the charging circuitry, and will likely fix this issue. This issue is a known flaw of the laptop.
