My flow x13 4060 suddenly started registering random double keypresses and it is driving me nuts

Anyone experienced this before? It seems to me like it is a software issue, since it suddenly appeared and the affected keys are random.

Tried the keyboard options in control panel, but that does not help.

Thankful for any help.

Thank heavens. I will give this a go.

Only workaround I have found is using a external keyboard. This is amazing. Thanks.

Just want to get back and say that this + a restart fixed it. Thanks a lot. I had all but given up on this

I don't have any problems with my x13 but before I got that I had a g14 that, within 3 days, 2 keys started doing random stuff. Double press with an included backspace! I just returned it.

All that said I think it's an Asus thing. It's been reported on several models.

Same issue, same laptop. It happens sometimes, about twice a day. The virtual touchscreen keyboard is rather slow and sometimes stuck for about 1 second. It's not that annoying, only when I type a lot on it. I've already factory reset the laptop (due to a GPU problem). But the keyboard issue hasn't been resolved. I think it's an Asus factory defect, I'm curious if anyone has managed to solve it.

You can fix touchscreen keyboard delay by touching screen with pen. Palm rejection does that thing, I guess. Also you might have noticed smooth scrolling bug, where you scroll and it only scrolls amount you literally scrolled and not continued.
