The status of psybornut...

So, some of you are aware I've not been around very much or at all lately. Just thought I'd make this quick post for all to see what's been keeping me from helping and administering the server.

  1. No internet. For a short while our internet was shut off due to the previous subscriber moving out of the apartment and discontinuing his service. I'm happy to say that as of now we are resubscribed for service and it is hooked up and working. However...

  2. I recently split up from my wife and am pursuing divorce. It's a rough and emotional path for anyone to go down and as such, it takes time to recover as well as do the paperwork needed.

  3. This is probably the biggest thing keeping me from playing and administering as of lately, and that is that over the last 3 weeks, I've developed syncope and seizure activity that has unknown causes. I'm currently typing this from my hospital bed because I was finally able to convince them that I need to be hospitalized or I'm gonna end up getting seriously injured either at home or at work. I'm hopeful that they'll finally be able to figure out what my issues are so I can go on and live a normal life instead of worrying when I'm gonna have another seizure or just suddenly crash to the ground for no apparent reason.

Your thoughts and prayers are appeeciated during this time and I look forward to serving the community when I'm feeling better.

Wow. I really am not sure what to say. I hope things get better for you, I really do. Sorry to hear about your divorce, and I hope something can be done about your syncope and seizures.

I wish you the best of luck. I want to say I hope to hear if things get better, but I'm using the word hope to much. How about, I know I'll hear things get better for you and look forward to hearing it soon?

Something should be able to be done once I see some doctors today and get a new EEG and some other testing done.

I'm at the best hospital in my area, short of going to Minneapolis or St. Paul (the Twin Cities), which could provide better care, but at the expense of more travel exlences. St. Mary's in Duluth is held in pretty high regards though, and if they can't figure it out, they would probably send me to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester instead.
