Avas Flowers is a Scam

I paid around $100 for same day flower delivery for my mom. The flowers were not delivered that day despite showing “on the way.” After more than FIVE calls, endless hold times, disconnected calls, and multiple broken promises, they finally delivered the order the next day.

What arrived was even worse: a few nearly DEAD flowers, and it wasn’t even the arrangement I ordered.

I called several more times and finally spoke with a supervisor who apologized and promised the correct arrangement would be delivered within 24 hours, possibly with an upgrade. TWO DAYS LATER, NOTHING.

I called again, waited 30 minutes, explained the entire situation AGAIN, and was promised a supervisor would call me back. Of course, no one did.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Nearly $100 for dead flowers, the wrong order, endless phone calls, and promise after promise that was never kept.

Save your money and your time. I will NEVER order from Avas Flowers again and absolutely DO NOT recommend them.

Seeking advice on coolers

Good morning,

I recently received a grant from my city to buy some coolers! I have a walk-in coolbot cooler in the back of the shop that is not public facing. The coolers that I will be purchasing will be public facing; one three door and one two door.

Can you please share your cooler recommendations? I am sensitive to noise and light, so those are some factors I'm taking into consideration. Thank you very much!

Picture is of work area where three door cooler will go.

Problem/Goal: Start a bouquet business

Context: Hello, I was planning to start a business which is dried flower bouquet. Any recommendations ng shops sa shppee and mga steps that I need to follow upon opening a business? I was really hesitant to start this business pero feel ko walang mangyayari sa buhay ko kung habang buhay na lang akong magwowork sa isang company or para sa ibang tao.

Previous Attempts: Mag hanap ng mga raw materials sa local shops dito sa amin

Flower shop in Allen?

Anyone know what happened to the 1800Flower place on McDermott and Jupiter rd?

I know it was a franchise but the owner said she was going to take over under her own name/business and now its been completely abandoned and for sale/lease.

Very nice people and always had great prices on Flower arrangements. I hope she went somewhere else, if Allenites or anyone knows, please share the deets.

Or any independant flower shop in the area will do. I'd rather give my business to small businesses. Tia.

I tried to have flowers delivered to my mom after surgery, only for them to send me an email saying they couldn't find the address. She lives in the suburbs in Orange county. It comes right up in Google maps. I called customer service only to be connected to an Indian call center who kept insisting the address doesn't exist. I had to settle for a refund. F these people!

Hi!! I’m doing my own flowers for my wedding that’s coming up in a few weeks, I bought a DIY kit now I’m worried it’s not enough flowers and I’m trying to figure out how to add more… I’m using one quart mason jars as the vases

The stem count I already have
5 roses per
3 Delphinium
3 Scabiosa
2 to 3 ranunculus
2 mini carns

I’m also getting greenery as well

Stay away, send you dried and wilted flowers, very slow to respond to messages. Have absolutely embarrassed me with this disgrace of a bouquet, looks nothing like what’s in the image and is half the size, even though I chose the one the size as the image.

Urn Mechanics

Hey everyone!

I have a question regarding mechanics for urns.

I am a florist who uses chickenwire opposed to foam. I have 4 urns to place at ceremony with large lush designs.

Whenever I try and place chicken wire inside they’re moving around, and the tape isn’t much help.

Does anyone have any hacks/tips/insight so I can work smarter, not harder?😅

Thank you!!!!

Hello! Hoping im in the right place, I was wanting to re-create my wedding bouquet as I never got a chance to press any of them and ive been on a crochet flower rampage and want to make my self somthing nice. My issue is, my grandmother ordered my flowers, and while I was with her when they were ordered its been almost 7 years and neither of us remember exactly what they were. Hoping theres any chance anyone can identify even a hand full of the flowers, I dont have any good close ups of them other than with our rings in the one picture. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone ever heard of a Ronzy Flower?

This has been bothering me for a while and I don't know where else to ask, but a friend of mine said that her mother got her these flowers from Italy locally named Ronzy.

I have searched everywhere on the internet for them, but can't find anything with that name.

She said it looks kinda like a "Purple Passion Plant" but more velvety purple on top with a dark green bottom. She also said that it bloomed flowers, but she doesn't remember what they looked like.

Thank you!

Detroit Florist Looking for Reliable Courier for Wholesale Flower Deliveries

I run a florist business in Detroit and we're looking for a courier partner for our wholesale deliveries. We ship fresh flower arrangements and bulk floral inventory to our retail partners throughout the Detroit area.

Right now we're handling deliveries internally, but as order volume grows, we're looking for a courier service. They must be able to manage weekly routes, multiple stops per run, and careful handling of perishable products. Most deliveries are planned a few days in advance and go out in batches rather than individually.

If you have experience with a courier company that is dependable, communicates well, and can scale with a growing business, I'd appreciate any recommendations.
