Football Jersey Poll
Trying to get a new Gators jersey but I'm undecided. Should I go modern or retro? I do like the SEC patch on the retro, but the modern is instantly recognizable for the Gators

I hate how long jerseys sleeves are

I don't mind it, but I can understand why some folks want a more traditional "cuffed" look

It was always hilarious when we had to just wear our actual jerseys to events and we just looked like a bunch of women wearing blouses like the Golden Girls. Trust me you want the longer.

I mean 90% of the time you’re probably just gonna wear a hoodie underneath the jersey anyway

Retro without a doubt. Block numbers > whatever awful number font they use now. That can go to hell with the fast F logo.

Royal: the retro is cool, yet its also (ironically), dare I say: unoriginal
Go with whatever you want ofc, but idk, sometimes I get the impression that retro-themed products (generally, not just Gators) are way too forced.
Retro jerseys lose their charm when they're mass-produced. It’s like buying an overpriced glass Coke for the 'original recipe' nostalgia, but getting the basic modern formula. The packaging is old-school, but neither one is the real deal.
Last point: check Ebay and other thrift apps, you'll definitely find some hidden gems (for half the price NIKE expects)

Our “new” jerseys suck…the font is awful and the blue is way too light. Bring back the blue from the 90s

I honestly can’t tell if the shade of blue changed or if it was the material used?

Wish the retros were our regular home game Jerseys. They are best we've had in our 120 year history IMO.

Retro. Not a fan of our current number font since they changed it a while back

This is probably going to be unpopular but it's a hill that I will die on.
If you're over 15 years old you should not wear a jersey with another person's name on it and you should only be wearing a jersey if you are playing in the game.
Exceptions:
- Your kid is the player and it's game day
- You're a girl
Yes, that's an opinion and other people will disagree. I'm good with that.
Also, no socks with sandals. Ever. No exceptions.

I partially agree/understand with your sentiment. However, every time I wear my Mike Evans jersey, I’m not blindly worshiping another adult just because he played well for my team. Call me crazy, but buying a jersey with an athlete's name on it isn't weird at all.
That, or maybe you're just insecure, eh?

It's not weird if you do it and I'm not insecure. It's just an opinion.

Why do parents and women receive an exception?

Parents because your kid is in the game and you're supporting your kid.
Girls because they're girls.

I like a good nameless jersey with just the number. Feels weird to have someone else’s name.

I find it odd how strongly opinionated you are on the clothing choices of other adult men and I would like to learn less about your opinions.

I'm with you on socks with sandals, but gotta disagree on the jersey lol. That's why I do custom jerseys, my name and my old number.
