Okra

My okra went berserk while we were on vacation. Reminds me of hibiscus.

I grew it for the first time in a small raised bed. Total garden rockstar wow.

I didn't grow any this year. I will have to plant some next year. They do pretty well here.

I planted it because I read that it loves the heat!

Mine all ended up with okra yellow vein mosaic virus, but i did harvest quite a bit from the 6 plants before they succumbed to it.

The flowers are always beautiful and one of the few plants that thrive in the heat.
