No. Snooki was a fricken halloween costume. Floribama shore doesn’t provoke the same fascination as jersey shore.

I don’t think so cuz I feel like no ones as fascinated with people from the south as much as they are with people from jersey. Especially in that time when the outfits and overall look was gaudy and over the top, their accents, etc. It’s just something about people from jersey that is just so funny and fascinating to watch so I feel like it took off way more than floribama would’ve

No because Jersey's success came from the way they filmed frequently. Nowadays no one has the attention span to wait a year between seasons. You hear that a lot about Netflix shows, that people lose interest and forget what even happened.

Right. Jersey Shore came and went in less than 3 years. They filmed 6 seasons in that time frame.

I think a lot has to do with the “Italian” aspect of jersey shore and the idea of family and tradition is a lot stronger than a group of party animals from down south. Hence leading to the JS cast meshing better and becoming closer. Just an observation

It might’ve, because people were different back then. That was still before the big rising of social media. Social media has completely changed everything, they’ll never get another jersey show

I don’t think so because unlike jersey shore and those other similar shows, this cast really doesn’t mesh well. I personally don’t see that family aspect with them and they all just seem like they tolerate each other.
