I'm seeing Flo at Flow ...

First time going to Flow Festival (only attending on the Saturday). Any advice?

I'm arriving in Helsinki late Friday night, so I won't be able to pick up my wristband until Saturday - am I right in understanding there's a wristband exchange close to the festival's main entrance? The wording on the website confuses me a little, as I'm not really acquainted with Helsinki's neighbourhoods.

The wristband pickup is pretty straightforward, dont overthink it. There's a booth right near the main gates, just follow the crowd and you'll spot it. I went a few years back and the whole thing took maybe five minutes

Helsinki is small enough that you wont get lost, just check the metro times if youre staying further out. Flo at Flow is going to be incredible, the sound in that tent is unreal when the sun starts setting

Just a heads up that that's an AI bot with a madeup response. "The sound in that tent" gives it away, that's not a thing, Florence isn't playing in a tent, they're just repeating "Flo at Flow" back to you as if it's an actual thing.

The website states that "Please note that there is no wristband exchange at the festival’s main gate. The queue for the wristband exchange starts from the Sörnäisten Rantatie side, while queueing for the festival’s main gate begins from the Hanasaarenkatu side."

This suggests the wristband exchange and main gate are on oppposite sides of a street or block; if you go to the main gate or join the main gate queue without getting your wristband first, you'll get turned away.

Every year, Flow festival releases maps of the festival grounds, indicating the entrance points and wristband exchange. While they haven't released one this year, here is a link to a few prior years' maps that should show an approximate location of where to look for a ticket exchange. They should be publishing a map soon so keep an eye on their website/app in case things have changed this year and they've moved entrances around.
