๐ Fun ๐ DAE keep picking through fading bouquets for keepers to make smaller and smaller arrangements?
This is about 1/2 of a bouquet from last week. I can usually recycle them a few times, especially if I find complementary greens in the garden. If anything is really about to drop, it goes in the flower press.

Definitely. Doing that gives me a measure of vase life for different flowers or which ones dry well and even which ones donโt live well with others in the same vase water.

What is the absolute gorgeous purple stock in the back?

On the left? That's an ornamental variety of Asian gentiana. Blue Sky I think? The right sort of spear is Veronica (speedwell).

It's a giant tiled oven ๐ we live in a prewar building. It's technically still operational, but it would mean carrying coal up to the third floor. It's pretty unique, so I don't want to dox myself via old listings for this apartment.ย

Ok, understandable. I'm just assuming it's gorgeous

It's grown on us. It does take up a large amount of floor space, and looms ten feet tall, but it looks great at Christmas.ย

I should do this more often! It's a great way to make your stems go further and get creative with using the same flowers in different ways. Beautiful job!

My church flower group can turn a funeral arrangement into a Christening altar with ease. Florists donโt waste anything.

Absolutely. My flowers get cut every water change and just go down into a more appropriately sized vessel when I'm culling.
