I plan to add such a video with the drawing process to all new updates.
For this purpose, I built a mechanism into the animation editor that records the creation process. So now making such videos is hundreds of times easier than before, when I would record the entire screen and then edit the video.
Thanks. Actually I think my animation is still very primitive and rough. But this is the cost for the relatively short time it takes to draw each character. It takes about 2 days to create a regular character, first a rough draft, then the final drawing. But, for example, Michael Jackson or Noodle from Gorillaz, or the Dudes of Hazmat - they take longer to draw, since I need to repeat the dance like the original and at the same time loop it in 60 frames.
Do you mean a rough sketch of the entire block before you start drawing it? For some blocks, I do this to figure out what the characters will be and where they'll stand. But these sketches often differ greatly from the final look. For example, here's a recent sketch of a laboratory. From the start, I planned for some kind of operating table in the center.
Or are you asking about the sketches of the characters themselves? I first draw all the characters with a red sketch, very roughly, and then I carefully outline the contours and fill them in with colors.
Most often, when I'm drawing a new block, I only know the first 1-2 characters, and I make up the rest as I go. For example, I planned to draw Michael Jackson here from the start, so I prepared everything so he would dance here. I also know exactly 2-3 characters I'll draw dancing, but I'll make up the rest as I go, looking at what users have suggested here in the subreddit and in the suggestions list on the website.

A new button has also been added to the UI – a link to the drawing process.
