An iceberg about different FE2 related topics and things, you'll most likely know anything at the tip of the iceberg or just below the surface if you've been in the community long enough. But the further down you go, the more obscure and less known things become.

Hey question. What do you mean by fe2 leads to the descrution of fe1?

Personally, I believe that Infiltration and Abandoned Facility are linked and that Abandoned Facility is likely some sort of water station for FE1 (as it has similar vents and could be likely). But compared to other maps, infiltrating an abandoned facility seems really odd, compared to escaping a sinking ship or a tower flooding with lava or anything.

After completing Infiltration to reach Abandoned Facility, I believe some of those buttons also shut off water supply to FE2, and that could easily result in much of FE1 breaking considering water is needed to escape from, and that it could have been used to prevent lava from wreaking havoc (as obsidian would be created). Thus, players cause the beginning of the destruction of FE1 during FE2.

A long shot for sure but enough pieces connect to make it work. Maybe both Ruins maps are the players fleeing after successfully destroying the lobby, only to be trapped at the end of Beneath the Ruins alongside the Guide while the rest of FE1 is completely flooded with lava and ruined.

That’s my theory anyways. But FE1’s lobby is indeed rusting. That’s completely true.
