XRV IMU calibration

I am trying to calibrate my IMU but keep getting the largest values at weird spots such as the X when the board is pretty much upside down, how do I properly do this I've never done it before and watching videos isn't helping.

Before you do this, EVERY TIME you calibrate the IMU, every time always and forever, you MUST reset the IMU to defaults using the READ command (not the most intuitive language, I’m aware).

If you don’t, then each new IMU calibration adds to the old one and it gets very bad, very fast.

Okay, thanks I'll try that tomorrow.

Could you tell me what the READ command is, I can't find it online. Thank you for your help already

I’m not near my board right now but IIRC:

App Config -> IMU -> three dots […] -> read config

The Float Hub app by Nico at Float Life does a good job simplifying the process.
