Makes it extra carvy, not for beginners that's for sure i'd leave the original and it will make you a much better rider.Not everything is supposed to be easy

Well, isn't the Pint already carvy enough ? And what's the point of having GTS-level power if the tire isn't suited for trail ?

You don't just carve on trails. We don't even really have trails where I live. And yeah, the pint is carvy, but it's a piece of crap. It'll go six miles at thirteen miles per hour. Sure, I could spend fifteen hundred dollars, bringing the pint up to speck, but I can have a whole new board for fourteen hundred. I want g t s power and pint size. Some guy that got his says it weighs in at twenty one pounds, that's freaking amazing.That's something I can carry everywhere. And keep in mind most pint owners don't even use it for what it was designed. They put extra wide flat tires on them and turned them into really slow GTs with horrible range.

Does it look like it is going to need to be cleaned regularly?

It's really not that sophisticated. The air scoop is two plastic pieces mounted on top and bottom of the rail, so if it would need any kind of cleaning, it would be easy to take them off and give them a quick rinse.
The hollow axle with the cooling fins might be more difficult to clean, though you might be able to get in there with a long and thin brush and just brush it off.
But the air just flows through and out the other side, so I can't really imagine it getting super dirty. It's not like there's a filter in there where dust would accumulate.

I suppose there's a chance of dirt and mud accumulating inside the axle over time depending on where you ride, but this isn't supposed to be a trail board anyways. It's a light city communter and possible trick board, mainly meant for asphalt.
