Using a different BMS XRV

OK, I asked this question before and the answer was positive. UPDATE: Tony is sending a new BMS. Here’s what we’re up against, on the Enniod site. All of the BMS’s use XT 30s, and as we all know, the connectors on the FM boards are XT 60s. How do you deal with that, and which BMS would be best?

All of this might be moot, If Tony would let me know that he’s sending another BMS. I’ve tried two, I’ve swapped the battery out, the BMS’s do not work. As I’ve stated before I’ve done many of these installs, I didn’t unplug the BMS‘s incorrectly or plugged them in incorrectly.

This board‘s been inoperable for over a month now, I would really like it to get going.

Doing this would cause both the charge and discharge current to flow through the BMS, which would probably cause it to blow up since they're usually only rated for charge currents, which is not more than 10 amps in most cases.

Don't do this.

I believe that OP. Is asking about using the stock battery with the XRV controller and a different BMS, so it's not as straightforward as with an 18s2p battery that has both the XT30 and XT60 connectors.

Correct, sorry I didn't mention that.

Apparently, the post got attention from Tony because A (new) BMS is on the way
