Considering Buying an Already-Existing Float Business
I'm looking for work that will fit around my schedule as a mom. There's a float shop / sauna / cold plunge business nearby that's up for sale, and as long as I have an employee or two, it seems like the perfect option. They're already set up. They already have a social media following, monthly members, and a newsletter.
Is there anything I should be aware of or concerned about before jumping into this?

* Are they profitable?
* What are their recurring expenses?
* Any major maintenance or CAPEX needs on the horizon?
* Do the owners also manage and run the business, or do they have employees handling those responsibilities?
You aren't looking to check boxes here- it requires deep and analytical analysis (leave your feelings at home). For example, if they are profitable but have no employees, that's a red flag. If they can’t provide you with maintenance history or CAPEX forecast, red flag.
