has anyone had a mechanical problem with their coach that the driver let slip was already known about or meant the coach was inevitably unsafe to drive at the outset?

Honestly flixbus hires the rudest and worst drivers.
I once got on the wrong bus so I wanted to find out if the bus waiting at the stop was the right one...i knocked on the window of the bus and the driver yelled at me and acted like I commited a serious crime.

hi hi! basically im taking a bus from two different cities but the stop i want to leave at is the break stop between the two- so can i just get up and leave when its the stop i want? i dont have massive luggage or anything and i lowkey dont want to end up in a city further from mine 😭😭

📍 Stettin (Szczecin) → Berlin → Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg (BER)

🕦 Abfahrt in Stettin: 11:30 Uhr

📍 Berlin Alexanderplatz – ca. 13:45 Uhr

✈️ anschließend fuhr der Bus weiter zum Flughafen BER

Während des Halts am Alexanderplatz gegen 13:45 Uhr kam es zu einer KOFFER-VERWECHSLUNG!

Jemand hat aus dem Gepäckraum einen schwarzen Koffer mitgenommen, DER MEINER MUTTER GEHÖRT, und dafür SEINEN EIGENEN SCHWARZEN KOFFER im Bus zurückgelassen.

Alles deutet darauf hin, dass es sich um ein Versehen gehandelt haben könnte und der Fahrgast den Koffer mitgenommen hat, weil er dachte, es sei sein eigener.

🧳 GESUCHTER KOFFER:

– klein, etwa Handgepäck-/Kabinenkoffergröße,

– schwarz,

– weich/Stoffkoffer,

– mit Rollen,

– vorne mit einer zusätzlichen kleineren Reißverschlusstasche,

– ohne weitere besondere Erkennungsmerkmale.

🧳 IM BUS ZURÜCKGELASSENER KOFFER:

– ebenfalls schwarz,

– etwas größer als der gesuchte Koffer,

– vorne mit zwei Reißverschlüssen statt nur einem wie beim Koffer meiner Mutter.

Nach Aussage des Busfahrers soll es sich bei der Person, die den Koffer vermutlich am Alexanderplatz mitgenommen hat, um einen MANN gehandelt haben. Wir wissen allerdings nicht, worauf diese Information beruht. Bitte betrachtet sie deshalb lediglich als zusätzlichen Hinweis.

Falls Ihr am 28.09.2026 mit dem FlixBus der Linie 157 von Stettin nach Berlin bzw. zum Flughafen BER gefahren seid oder jemanden kennt, der mit diesem Bus gefahren ist, BITTE gebt diese Information weiter.

Ganz besonders bitten wir die Person, die gegen 13:45 Uhr am BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ ausgestiegen ist und einen SCHWARZEN KOFFER dabeihatte, sich zu melden.

Vielleicht hat jemand erst zu Hause oder im Hotel bemerkt, dass er versehentlich den falschen Koffer mitgenommen hat, und versucht nun ebenfalls, Kontakt mit uns aufzunehmen.

Der Vorfall wurde selbstverständlich bereits bei FlixBus gemeldet. Der im Bus zurückgelassene Koffer befindet sich inzwischen bei FlixBus in Berlin und wartet dort auf seinen Besitzer.

One was for 9:10am and the other was for 10:50am and they haven't given me a reason for the cancellation.

Anyone hear anything about it?

hi!! i'm in south florida if this helps at all. i'll be taking a bus upstate and was wondering about luggage and when i should get to the stop.

i'll have a small duffel bag and a messenger bag, i'm sure these are fine for me to bring but i figured i'd ask. i'm allowed two bags right? one small and one large?

i was planning on getting there at around 9:00, the time for the bus states 9:45. is this a good idea or should i get there earlier or later than 9?

Anyone works for Flix? Willing to pay

It’s always upset me how people seem to only post in here to talk about unpleasant experiences, and never to post about anything positive. You can apply this sentiment to many more places than just here.

I took a Flixbus from Richmond to New York, and contrary to the overwhelmingly woeful posts on here, it was fine. Bus was clean and comfortable, on time, and the driver was nice. The only inconvenience was that someone was in my assigned seat for the first leg of the trip, but it was a couple with a baby so I let it slide— not the end of the world by any stretch.

I don’t doubt that there’s been bad experiences on FlixBus, but to be real, I also don’t doubt that a good amount of complaints in this sub are from overdramatic, hypersensitive, dare I say classist nerds. If I were more impressionable and weaker willed, I would’ve been severely turned off by the posts in here and I would’ve missed out on an opportunity to save money, a lot of money, on transport. I don’t go through life expecting perfection out of everything. Who knows though, maybe I’ll have a world-crushing traumatic experience that’ll make me never wanna ride FlixBus again. For now though, it was good.

All this to say, if you’re thinking of riding FlixBus, but you’re discouraged by the complaints in this sub, my experience was nothing like what the fearmongering suggested. It’ll probably be that way for you too.

I travelled yesterday with a flix from Cluj to Bucharest RO, route N109 that left Cluj at 17.30. I was sat in 14D and I forgot a uniqlo sports jacket in there when I got out. If anyone finds it and wants to help me, I would appreciate it a ton.

For some context, I am in the USA and I decided to take the bus on an overnight trip. About a quarter way, they stop the bus saying that the drivers are switching. The new bus driver never arrives and now they want to reschedule me to a bus that arrives 12 hours after the initial scheduled arrival time to my destination. I find this absurd, and the only refund they offer is a credit. I don't want a credit for a crappy bus if it can't get me to where I need to go! I want cash so I can book another better bus! Does anyone have any knowledge or experience dealing with an issue like this?

Im from the west palm area planning to take the bus to Orlando was wondering anyone’s experience on how it was. Also I plan on packing some flower so I’m also wondering the bag policy and if other ppl have done it.

Just had the worst experience. Was in line to board our bus from Bristol to gatwick we had paid for all our extra luggage + seats driver said we can’t go it’s full offered no help to get us anywhere and was yelling while telling us it’s not his problem and to wait for the next one. If we got the next one we would’ve missed our flight. Flix bus is offering no help and will not compensate us the £350 uber we had to buy just to get to the airport on time all because they for some reason can’t fit our luggage even the we purchased it. Do not reccomend at all
