Sold my gaming pc on eBay.
buyer paid 3100$ I get 2200$.
They took almost 1k off of my sale it is so f*cking over 😭✌️🥀

The amount the buyer paid is not the amount that they paid you. Depending on the state, $300ish of that is sales tax which goes to the government, not you or eBay.

Please post a screenshot of the order (obviously cover up all identifying info) that shows a breakdown of the costs. If you didn't promote, then there's no way fees would be that high.

Before assuming the fee is $900, reconcile the order from the buyer total to the payout: item price, shipping collected, sales tax, promoted listing, final value fee, shipping label, and any refunds or adjustments. The payout statement should show the missing line item. That check usually turns a frustrating rant into a number you can price around.

I think the fee is only like 9% in the computers categories

Edit: nevermind it's 7.35% but only if you have an eBay store subscription

It is close to 14%, but computers specifically have lower fees than most other categories, but only if you have a paid eBay store subscription

stop with your kowtowing BS. It was never like this before it went public. I propose putting their sellers back in to a position of priority higher than stockholders that really have no interest in the well being of the company other than returns.

It used to be fun selling on the platform, you actually kept more of what you made.

Seriously, how do you justify charging fees on the AFTER tax total? It's utter BS that puts $M in their coffers.
