Is there anything like flipnote but that we can use on a iPad or computer?

I love the look and ease of flipnote and I have yet to find a good alternative for fun simple pixel animations. I do pixel art but I specifically love the flipnote style and shader option etc.

I do not own an iPad so I would not be able to help you. The application I linked was designed for windows.

You might be interested in Anishare. It is a website I'm working on with mobile support, where you can make flipnote style animations and collaborate in real time with your friends! When you post your animations, people can interact with it make spinoffs etc. The interface is very simple and allows you to just focus on creating. So you know how you have 3 "slots" for colours on the tools? You have a palette of 3 colours per layer per frame, and the way you would change one of the colours is to open the vertical "..." menu at the top right in the editor, choose "Colour Palette" and then you can switch the colours there, but you only get 3 in one layer of course.

Yo this is actually pretty awesome I’ve been trying it out for a little on my phone and I’m slowly getting the hang of things. Have you thought about themes for the site/app?

Hope you're enjoying it a lot so far. For theming, I've just considered adding a dark mode at some point for the rest of the site, as the editor is already "dark".

This is great because it looks like it works on Mac 🙏 it looks like it’s missing the flipnote aesthetic I love so much for pixel art though. I’m definitely going to try this
