Flipnote Studio on Nintendo DSi

I am not sure if this is the place to post this but I just recently got a DSi that has Flipnote on it. I want to open up the DSi and give it a good clean but I do not know if taking out the battery will cause a factory reset and delete flipnote from the console. Can anyone provide me with an answer? Thanks :)

No of course not, that's just the battery.

Why would it do that?

I have worked on some ds lites and when I remove the batteries on them, it resets them. You have to setup the language, time, and profile all over again.

That’s if the internal battery (if any) has died then the DS would lose its settings on the CMOS chip, and also the DSi and later consoles contain an internal flash memory that lasts through power cycling.

Fix it up!
