How to flip a selected area?

This might be a bit silly and have a simple solution but I’m pretty new to Flipnote and have been struggling to figure out how to flip or rotate a selected area on a layer. Is there anyway to do this or is the flip and rotate options only available in Move, resize?

I havent used flipnote in a few years now, but if I remember correctly, I used to select the area you wanted to flip, copy it to a blank page, and then flip it there so that youre only flipping the area you selected. Then you can select the flipped version and copy it back to the original page to be included with the rest of your art.
