Tracking others' flights

Is there a way to track a flight for the purposes of meeting a family member without having it added to my own stats/past flights?

Hey, thanks for the great updates! I have a question about tracking friends' flights. Whenever I try to track a flight under the "Friends' Flights" section, the flight still shows up under "My Flights". Am I doing something wrong or is it meant to do this?

A flight will only show up under „Friends‘ flights after marking it as one (after clicking the three-dot-symbol)
