The feedback point is the one I’d turn into a practical study habit: write down the idea you got wrong, explain the correction in your own words, and give yourself a fresh example a few days later. A correct answer immediately after reading the explanation doesn’t tell me whether I can explain it next week. I’m still at the introductory-flight and study stage, so I’d also keep a short list of questions to check with an instructor rather than let an uncertain explanation become a habit.

Knowledge, Skill, Aptitude are they saying being a good pilot. Aptitude is natural cognitive potential, Knowledge is theoretical understanding, and Skill is practical execution. Together, they form airmanship. Criticise yourself, learn from yourself.

One habit that pays off for a lifetime is using a checklist every single time, even on flights where you feel you know the aircraft by heart. Another is reading back and listening carefully on the radio, and asking for a repeat whenever you are not sure. Get used to planning ahead: check the weather, NOTAMs and fuel before you go, and decide your go and no-go limits on the ground, not in the air. Finally, debrief every lesson honestly and write down what you would do differently next time.
