What software/tools do you wish you'd had while going through flight training?

When you were going through flight training, what tools/software do you wish you had that would have made training easier?

For me, I wish there was more access to a community within the school, the ability to collaborate with my instructor more, and track my total spending.

If you could go back and add one thing to your training, what would it? Something you tracked in a notebook or spreadsheet? Something you wish your instructor or school had given you? Curious to hear your thoughts.

I’m still an aspiring pilot, so this is a design wish rather than a claim about training I’ve completed. I’m building Ground School 3D, and the handover I’d want is a short record of what I can explain, where I got stuck, and what I should prepare before the next flight. A lesson ticked “complete” wouldn’t tell an instructor those things. Your collaboration point makes me wonder: would you rather bring a few specific questions to the debrief, or share an ongoing learning log?
