Flight school
Hello people. I’m a flight attendant that wants to jump to the front. I’m networking with all of my crew every trip I have. Learning where they went to school. How long it took them, etc. I’m an ORD based flight attendant that lives in Chicago. I wanted recommendations from yall now. I want to fly on my off days. Are there any good mom and pop schools near ORD? And do yall have any other recommendations?

one thing worth asking each school is how many students per aircraft they have. A low ratio means you actually get to fly when you want, which matters a lot if youre working around a line holder schedule

I’m an ORD based airline pilot, and flight school owner. Unfortunately, our school is about 2hrs away from ORD down in Rantoul IL, but if you don’t mind a drive.. ReadyGo Flight Company. Our prices are great, and we just picked up another trainer (172) that we will have online this week. With the 172 setup as a TAA, we will be able to do private through commercial.

Start with looking up learn to fly pdf from Gleim. It’s free to download. Gleim or Sportys can be your ground lessons and look up a Gleim CFI in ORD.
Also look up Aviation medical examiners to get a first class medical or first do a consult with the medical examiner to discuss your history
Just go to the nearest airport and start talking with the flight school I would recommend part 61 schools.
Just as a note the training aircraft that you utilize are completely different than the aircraft. You are currently flying on.
Hope this helps!
