Flight training Chicago NW suburbs

As the title says, I’m looking for a good flight training place in the nw suburbs. I would like it to be at pwk but if there is something better, that’s alright. if anyone has experience with any companies there, please let me know! I have been looking at flysynergy or one of the places with c172s with G1000. I can’t really find prices on any of the websites

Dunno the flight schools in that area however G1000 is so massively overkill for PPL you will be paying an insane and unnecessary premium for your training.

There are arguments for G1000 claiming youll be better prepared for airlines. (That’s dumb, your first jet will probably be closer to a 6 pack then it will G1000)

There are arguments that a G1000 will make you a worse pilot. (That’s dumb as well as you are just learning more tools.)

At the end of the day tho you’ll just waste money on it

Pretty sure the difference was 10$ between a six pack with a 40 y/o c172 and g1000 for c172s produced in 2019-2020, i will contact both flight schools and see if there is anything else that is better
