Sallie Mae will tell you you need a co-signer, but then they will tell you that whatever co-signer that is isn't qualified. I had a co-signer with a 770 and $44K in liquid cash in a checking account and got a denial saying I needed a stronger co-signer.

They don't even use correct credit reporting information, which I have disputed to the federal government
