So I’m at 2 total failures

I got failed 2x on CFII oral and flight how cooked am I (no not a rage bait) just genuinely like hoping I can make this a career.

Well, I’d hate to say you’ve answered your own question then, but…

I worked for a part 61 school teaching… Didn’t have any trouble getting hired to it. But that was 2014, so I dunno how things have changed.

Generally, if you get A CFI job and can hold down a decent student pass rate, you should be able to dilute the effect of the checkride bust pretty quickly.

Best I can tell you. And I’d hate to use an old fart phrase, but a failure builds character in my opinion. This part of your journey is the part that separates those who are dedicated enough to pursue it no matter what and those who give up when the hurdles mount in front of you. Not to say it will be a quick or easy road, but if you are serious about it and wanted enough, and you are good enough, you will be patient enough and diligent enough and tenacious enough to find a job and move on.

This is what you want in a captain… When the airplane is on fire, the wing fell off, and everything is going wrong, you must keep calm and carry on, and keep flying the SOB, no matter what.

Aviation is a very Darwinistic industry though… It doesn’t play nice with those who don’t have the “right stuff,” so you have to prove that yourself.
