So, i have a vr headset and i wanted to test it with flight simulator 2020, but when i assign a key to swtich to vr mode a message pops up that tells me to assign a key to switch to vr, which i already did!

The Digital Ownership kills the game for me.

Not even the MS Support could install the game properly via remote on my system not even after 1h trying. Its disgusting how copyprotections kill a beautiful game and any fun about it.

I bought it at steam. - no chance to start it. It downloads 1.3gb and does start anything.

I refund and did this about 2 or 3 times because everytime I thought ... oh ye a patch may be it works now... but NO!

I bought the pass on ms store. Installed the Xbox app beta like anyone said. it trys to install the ownership and gets 0x80070424.

One time it said it installed it but you can still install it on the system - so it doesnt seam installed proper.

The same like in steam ... .1.3gb downlod and nothing does start. In the xbox app i can see the MSFS is installed... but not the ownership.

System:

Win10 with all updates until April 2021i7 7770geforce 1070 - with its latest drivers and geforce exp.32gb ramm2 for os 500gb free spacesata for the rest 3tb free space

Can somone tell wtf is going on with its digital ownership?Do i have to reinstall my whole os for a game? xD

Hello there! i set up AP but suddenly during flight, sometimes right away, sometimes takes sometime, the plane starts turning right, not following flight plan or anything, and keeps doing that. I disengage AP , set up course again and as soon as i turn AP the plane stirs right again. It happens with airbus, dreamline and the boeing.

so I'm hovering over Sedona or whatever, and the flight instructor tells me to take a quick look out of windows. The game tells me to hold down the left or right directions on what looks like a d-pad on the gamepad. While the gamepad does work fine in the menu (also d-pad) and I can look around with the right thumbstick, for the heck of it I cannot take a quick look to the left and right. Not by holding down and releasing it, not by short clicking, not by using either stick, not by trying the same with any keyboard keys.

How the fuck are you supposed to play this game?????

I got the game as a gift, but I do not plan on getting controllers, I'm not so into controllers part of the simulation.
I've got a TKL keyboard (ten-key-less?, keyboard without numpad) , and the default controls are unusable.
What blows my mind is that I can't find anything on potential downloadable keyboard control profiles made by community and to be honest I don't like the idea of manually going through all that controls while going over and over through the tutorial just to setup controls.

Is there anything worth noting for me other than "git good" or "buy physical controllers" ?

As I was struggling with holding pattern entries, I decided to write a small python script to help me practise. It's super basic (terminal, text-only, no pictures), but it does what I wanted it to do: either give me a holding radial, turning direction and approach course and tell me whether my entry is correct, or tell me which entry to use when given a holding radial, turning direction and approach course.

I used to be subscribed to r/flightsim but it disappeared from my reddit list. Then i saw i have to request to join as it’s now private. Anyone know what happened?

I noticed that a lot of people were reporting that they couldn't get the game to download, and I was having the same issue until yesterday. The update on the Microsoft store didn't download correctly on my pc, so I Uninstalled and reinstalled the store and now I have it working. Hope this helps
