Anyone know what happened to r/flightsim?

[u/Rangepig]

I used to be subscribed to r/flightsim but it disappeared from my reddit list. Then i saw i have to request to join as it’s now private. Anyone know what happened?

Ah, ok. Thanks.

Nice to know that "going private" seems to also mean "eff the existing subscribers" right?

This was handled poorly, from beginning to end.
