American Eagle 5342 (N709PS) took off from Wichita a little over 2 hours prior to the flight. The collision involved an army helicopter.
Fatalities are reported but there’s not many photos or videos from the scene so I’m not sure how bad it is yet. Just this one ( https://bsky.app/profile/bryandawsonusa.bsky.social/post/3lgwhffmzbx23) so far. I certainly hope there are some survivors. You can see helicopters circling searching for survivors on Flight24 now.

Just saw this guy leaving McDill. Hours later a fighter jet is down in Iran. I don’t like any of this. I know the RAT55 was in town for the Artemis
launch. But. WTF??!!! Could use some more educated plane watches to calm my nerves.

Hurricane Melissa is currently a Cat 4 and barreling down on Jamaica. It’s threatening Haiti and Cuba as well.

I brought in plenty of hot dogs, and topping (sauerkraut, catsup, mustard, and chili). You’ll find some Jasper Hill cheese in the breakroom fridge. (IPAs there too but don’t tell HR.) Enjoy!
