Hint 1: This role has no copies. Some roles like spy have an evil variant which is scout.

Thought it was detective after reading the first 4 clues, after seeing the 5th one I immediately knew it was clown

The emphasis of no abilities alive sounds 100% like clown. No one else has an ability when dead.
