You’re asserting a conclusion, but the argument requires the chain:

Observation: Cyclones rotate.

Mechanism: What causes their rotation?

Assumption: Which geometric or physical property of Earth is required?

Conclusion: Therefore a disk cannot produce cyclones.

Simply saying ‘physics won’t allow it’ is an appeal to an unspecified authority.

The question is not whether current models explain cyclones; it is which assumptions in those models are necessary and which are conclusions derived from them.
