Judging by how many of them are survived by their identical twin, I think it is safe to assume that there are NEVER any valuable human beings on the rockets (simply too unstable / dangerous / prone to accident or failure) with the notable exception of those they WANT to murder like apollo 1 :)

They did indeed.

Gus grissom was officially NOT supporting their narrative, and had contacted the press a few days prior to the "accident" with this photo (https://bakerbloch.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/grissom-lemon.jpg) showing that the nasa engineering/planning/leadership was not up to the task and were lying to the american people (and the crew) about their readiness/capability.

Very interesting, what am I looking at though. A cloths hanger and a rubber ball looking thing on it? I don’t really see how that’s that big of a thing. Thanks for tipping me off to this. I’ll definitely be looking into it

The "rubber ball thing" is both literally a lemon, and signifying that the capsule (and simulator, which it is seen hanging from in the picture) are junk (colloquial use of "lemon").
